San Gervasio
Founded around A.D. 300, the site consists of six architectural ensembles that are joined by a network of Sacbes or white roads; They give you an idea of how the Mayans carried out their administrative, religious, and daily life activities. Since no records of his original name were found, this name was given as it is located within the old ranch known as “San Gervasio”.
El Caracol
An ancient archaeological site that catches its visitors for its history and meaning. Built during the late Postclassic (1200 - 1500 A.D.), its name was given from the snails that adorn the small dome that crowns the roof. It is also known as "Tomb of the Snail". It is located at the southern tip of Cozumel Island, in the ecological reserve of Punta Sur.
