Isla Cozumel

A paradise for diving lovers.

Thirty miles of island, the largest in the Mexican Caribbean, and one of the five best dive destinations in the world.

Out of the water it has a wild eastern shore, the Punta Sur and Chankanaab parks, and San Miguel, the town where the shops and restaurants are and where life still runs on island time.

Marine life

Turtles, rays and living reef

Chankanaab and the southern reefs can be seen without dive gear: a mask and a pair of fins are enough. On the table, lionfish, an invasive species that is fished and cooked here, is the island's dish.
