Airway
Flying to Chetumal International Airport, once there, you can rent a car, take a taxi or bus to get to your destination.
Land track
From Chetumal:
It is possible to take a bus, taxi, bus or rent a car.
From Cancun:
Taking Federal Highway 307 to the south you will pass through tourist towns such as: Puerto Morelos, Playa del Carmen, Tulum, Felipe Carrillo Puerto and you must continue until you reach Mahahual.
From Mérida, Yucatán:
Via Federal Highway 293 until connecting with highway 307 Cancún-Chetumal; you must take the route south (75 km) to Bacalar.
From Central America or Belize:
Take the road that leads to the Santa Elena border bridge. From Belize City it is a 2:15 hour tour and you will have to go through the towns of Orange Walk and Corozal, until you reach the Belize-Mexico border, there you take the route south until you reach Mahahual.
